travelling close
I would like some opinions from anyone who has had experience with this. I
looked at a horse for sale this week. She was very nice and had a lot of the
qualities I have been looking for but I am a little concerned about one
thing. She travels close, especially behind. She doesn't seem to strike
herself, but she has some old marks where she must have previously, and the
owners ride her with boots. She has already completed several rides. She is
also a bit overweight. Is this something that will get better with more
riding or if she loses weight? Can she "train" herself out of it? Would it
cause long term problems? Thanks for any input.
