tired horses
my gelding does tire. how do I know? well, sometimes he makes it easy: He stops and looks around
while doing deep breathing exercises, just like I would climbing up a steep hill. And, then, after
awhile, when we are nearing horses or a camp, he manages to find some more zip. I don'e use a heart
monitor. For some silly reason I believe I am supposed to figure out his condition without aids
(other than veterinary). Besides, I have a hard enough time trying to read my watch while at at
trot, let alone a monitor.
