In MY opinion, when he says "inside to the right" etc. he is not telling the
HORSE what to do, he is informing the AUDIENCE what the horse WILL do.  This is
showmanship and so much more impressive to an audience to realize that he can
actually predict what a horse will do.

Thank you so much Melanie for your wonderful explanation of the round pen
procedures.  I've tried to work with some of my horses on this in the past.  I'm
printing out your explanation for future reference.
