hot bit

On a multi-day ride leaving the lunch stop I could not get the bit in my 
horses mouth. Found out the bit had been in the sun for the hour and it was 
really hot. No wonder the poor horse didn't want it in his mouth.  Thought I 
would pass this along just in case it happens to someone else.  Now of course 
I keep his bit in the shade and check it first.
