The evidence against yearly vaccinations for Rabies, Strangles, etc. seems to be mounting, depending of course upon the individual horse's level of immunization.
The dilemma: several states *require* certain vaccinations for interstate travel, rides/ride managers *require* some or all (rabies in NJ e.g.)as a condition for entering the event.
What do you do if you have evidence that *your* horse has high titers for rabies/whatever? Do you vaccinate anyway so that you are not forced to stay home? How much harm will that do down the road?
Vets? Ride managers?
Any thoughts on this?
