Deer Flies and now...Killer Bees

Presoak the ears, poll and face with citronella wipes and/or SSS
Mosquito and Deer Tick Repellent (pack extras in the snugpack), put on
one of those crocheted ear and face thingies....carry a horsehair fly
whisk for swatting en route, and as a last resort, run like hell....

Now....what about KILLER BEES???
How many of you Southwestern riders have actually encountered them? How
far north have they swarmed? Just read a horrifying article in the new
EQUUS ("BEE WARE") and I'm spooked!
