Now, Trumen - Can you tell any other whoppers???  I grew up in Ocala.  We
had skunks (killed on the road regularly in front of the house).  Yuck!  I
used to pick ticks off the dogs when we went to camp in Wildwood.

You forgot to even mention the 2"+ long "Palmetto Bugs" - think biggest
darned roaches you ever saw!  Florida's natural wildlife.  Some thought the
armadillos were just another overgrown bug, too.

Hech, if you keep talking up Florida, you'll NEVER get rid of the yankees
coming down there!
