My ex husband is very allergic and sensitive to flea bites.  He was going crazy
one particularly bad year in CA ( he worked then for a pest control company and
would often go into vacated houses filled with fleas that hadn't fed in a while
- they could make a horror movie about that!)  Anyway, he decided to put flea
collars on his ankles.
His ankles went numb under the collars.  I'd think twice about putting anything
over my horse's fetlocks that would make them numb.  Not to say I wouldn't
still do it.  Maybe numb fetlocks would be good.  Lif
