Drug substitute

Just read an article in the June issue of Equus about the Stableizer.  Has
anyone on the list used it in place of a sedative during teeth floating?

Just to head off misapprehensions, I understand that this device must be
used with care because at maximum tension it can cause nerve damage if left
on too long (more than 10 minutes or so).

Thought this might be a helpful alternative to chemical sedatives.
