looking for a quote - HELP!

There's a saying, attributed to Will Rogers, that goes like this,
"There's something about the outside of a horse that's good for the
inside of a man."

I'm having a very hard time finding an answer (I've surfed the web until
my fingers are blue):  Does anybody know (a) if this is the correct
wording of the quote; (b) whether it was indeed Rogers who said this;
and (c) when he might have said it?
