Shoeing Curiosity Question

I guess I get the boobie prize:

  4 keg shoes with hot-shoeing adjustments & trim: $120.00
4 winter shoes with studs and snow-ejector gaskets & trim: $200.00

And I have to trailer my horse to the farrier. (Although he will
do a house call for founder of if he screwed up.)

This is Myron McLane from Somerset, Massachusetts, whose shop
is at the Drs. Sheehan in Mansfield, Mass.

Yes, it is expensive, but my previous shoer almost succeeded in
permanently screwing up my horse's rear end. I pay it for peace
of mind: because I don't have to worry whether something is being
done wrong.
