We would never give a dehydrated horse Bute or Banamine or even
electrolytes, but we pop down painkillers like they're M&Ms, and even brag
about it! Then, when the ride is over, many of us like to kick back with a
cold beer or a Marguerita! >>

Have I ridden with you before? You are describing my ride protocol to a 'T'!
So, what's the best pain killer to use?(I love Advil because it actually
works--I wish the same people who developed it would put their energies into
developing a fly spray). Also, I guess I've been lucky, because I have taken
Advil on my last four Tevis rides (plus numerous other endurance and CTRs)
without a problem -- but I don't need to push my luck either. Thanks for the
input.
