Gelding for Sale

In reference to the earlier post regarding the chestnut gelding for sale. I
rode this little guy tonight, he's a real delight. He is very responsive.
Rounds very nicely when asked. It won't take too much work to engage his
hindquarters IMO. I was able to get his back up and a wonderful extension
at the trot from him under saddle. He seemed to carry me just fine although
I wanted to lift my legs so they didn't drag...Just kidding. He's very easy
to control, he has a nice soft mouth. He will definitely make a nice
child's horse, he's about 14 hands. He hasn't been mistreated or anything,
the person who owned him just thinks the auction is viable option for
disposing of horses. This horse came from a nice home, I saw this horse a
few years ago when I was looking for a horse. He was owned by a green rider
and had about 60 days on him. Bad combination green rider, green horse.
The lady was never comfortable riding and consequently donated him to the
Boy Scouts who sold him to my neighbor. This neighbor has had him for a
couple of years, he's mostly stood in the pasture. The neighbor guy got
involved in team penning and has one by one sold his Arabians and bought
quarterhorses. This was one of the last Arabs he had. He has his eye on a
new quarter horse and told me he was going to take this guy to the auction
so he would have room for the new horse. Of course when he told me this, I
couldn't risk this little Arab going to slaughter so told him I would buy
him from him rather than have him take him to a sale. He was more than
happy to send him my way.

If anyone is looking for or knows someone who would like a fabulous little
gelding. This is one sweet guy. I already have three horses and this guy
is definitely too small for me to ride. I would dearly like to find him a
good home. I took pictures of him tonight will try and get them scanned so
that I can send to any one interested in seeing him.
