Our neighbors have a horse who has a "splash" of white, NOT like a Paint
splash as it is not pure white but a roaning of sorts.  It looks as if
someone poured bleach from the top of his back down one side and faded
his coat.  Before we knew these people, we assumed perhaps he had had
surgery and been shaved there and it grew back this way.  Then they went
out and bought another horse who has almost the same thing on his side,
just smaller.  That "easy white" gene theory is interesting!!
