Re: RC: World's Most Preferred.

Angie,

Sounds a bit like my quarterhorse neighbor who used to see me
conditioning in the Red Bluff summer heat, and the cold of winter, and
shake her head.( They Ride for a LIVING) One time when I came home from
a ride, she came over and said "Well--did you win it this time?" "NoI
said," " but we came in second on the l00 miler". She brightened up and
said "Oh--so how much money did you get? It's about time after all
those years". I said"I didn't get anything --they don't give
money.Oh--but I DID get this engraved plaque!" I said proudly.(those
were the good old days)

SHE SAID"Damn it! I just can't understand how anyone would put
themselves through all this without at least getting money!" and she
stomped away.........Maureen
