Isn't it nice when a rider reaps the benefit of all those years and years
of patient conditioning...hours and miles spent bonding with their
horse...going out and conditioning when the weather is miserable and
they'd rather be doing something else; sticking with their horse through
the hard times when it doesn't look like they're going to be successful,
and then there's the fairy tale ending.  I'll bet there were some great
stories around the campfire that night.
