We're talking about an extended foreleg--one that stays off the ground--not
because of height, but because of the extra reach, and the time it takes to
achieve that reach. Excess action, the "park" type of movement, up and down,
is also damaging. But here we're talking about exaggerated elongated
strides--can happen at the trot and at the gallop.
