After reading the many posts on snakes, I am SOOO glad we have nothing worse 
here than lots of poison oak and an occasional rattlesnake.  Riding a horse 
on the beach (in the State Park Mounted Assistance Unit) near Elephant Seals 
is enough excitement;  I DON'T need alligators, water moccasins, coral 
snakes, or whatever!
