I just noticed my horse has white hairs on each side of his withers as he's shedding his winter coat. I used 3 different sadddles in the past 10 months and I was wondering if anyone could tell me which saddle might have caused the problem. I used one saddle from 15 Jun 98-1 Jan 99, the 2nd saddle from 2 Jan 99-10 Mar 99 and the 3rd saddle from 11 Mar 99-16 Apr 99. I have only used the 3rd saddle 4 times, so I am thinking it didn't have time to make the white hairs, but it is the saddle I suspect. Does anyone have a better idea which saddle might have caused the white hairs based on the time period each was used? I had even sweat patterns from each saddle, no dry spots.
