The copperhead and rattler are pretty shy and we will see very few of
them.  I am told that the copperhead will become aggressive when it is
sheading it skin and the old skin turns cloudy over the eyes and cuts its
vision.

Now the cotton mouth is another story.  They can be very aggressive and
will come after you.

Down here in the "swamp" we also have the gator to contend with.  I'll take
a little old snake any day over a rilled up 12 foot bull gator during
mating season - which is fast approaching.
