Sure Guard Saddle Pad/Ad

 I've noticed more product >advertising
>going on on Ridecamp lately (directly from the manufacturers), is >that
>appropriate? (Angie, is there a rule in there about this type of
thing?)

Umm, the only difference in that post and the average endorsement was the
formality of the tone. So long as it's an endurance rider doing the
endorsement, I'm happy to read it...especially if it's a product that's
new, and especially if it's a person with a record like Bev. She isn't
one of those people who used up her right to post arguing about whether
she can bring her dog to a ride, call LD an endurance ride, or pack a
gun.

I suggest that the endorser not start working the product into every
post. An example of the improper use would be: "So, I raced past the
other horse to win the Pan Am Championship thanks to my Sure Guard Saddle
Pad which was firmly between my Arabian Saddle Company saddle and my HCC
horse..."

Since we're supposedly sitting around the campfire here, it's best to
just say, "Hey ya'll, I don't know if it's responsible for the
change...but I thought I was gonna have to hit the great saddle hunt
again, but this Sure Guard Saddle Pad looks like it's working. Gosh I
sure hope so. Some of ya'll might want to give it a try."

Same message, but it sounds like they're trying to help me out instead of
the company.

< Thank you so much for your excellent product-Sure Guard Saddle Pad. The
under-pad stays comfortably in place even in my rugged mountainous
terrain.
It really helps our saddles fit even better, and it works so well with
the
 serge panels.
 Thank you again,
 Beverly Gray
