Severely foundered horse, the conclusion

Hey guys,

    Thank you for all of the kind thoughts and suggestions.  I have decided to go ahead and try to help the foundered gelding, tentatively named "Streak".  He's coming to my house in about a month and then probably in to the vet for x-rays followed by some creative shoeing.  Hopefully, I can at least ease some of his pain and allow him a slightly more gentle lifestyle.  Not that his old home was bad but he'll get more attention at my house.  :-)   Thanks again, Rachael
