Carbo Charge cookies

I have a question for all you cooks and/or scientists
(I'm neither!). If I bake carbo charge (glycogen) in
cookies, will it lose any of its effectiveness or
strength? May seem like a really dumb question, but
I'd prefer to give my horse "cookies" full of glycogen
instead of syringing, if possible!  Kristi
