Locking the gate

There's something about having to do TWO locks that was a breakthrough
for me. Our hay/feed room is within our horse corral, and the horses
wander around. It has been known to happen that someone forgot to put
the snaps around the eyebolts to lock the feed room door...and my old
mare would notice it, shove the sliding door aside and there she'd be be
with her nose in the grain can. Never any serious problems, but the
potential was there. Our son installed a second set of eyebolts on the
door and jamb, and for some reason doing two snaps instead of one is a
certainty. The door hasn't accidentally been left open since. Connie
