Hi Johanna,

It sounds to me like the type of injury(sorry!) that would really
benefit from good old "time off" and that to go to a ride in May, you'd
still have to condition in April, and in my opinion, the whole thing
would be "prolonged".  Most of these injuries cant be hurried they need
rest and time off to really heal and to assure it won't keep being
reinjured by training and trailering(.Perhaps yours will be different,
but I would be careful or you may end up with a horse who is  "off" all
season.)  Good luck....
