Sportmanship and other Animals

I am the 'insecure newbie' so have never been to a ride.  I have been 
trail riding for years and do know proper trail etiquette (with the 
exception of the green ribbon).  I do think a reminder for everyone 
would be great for everyone.  It would help new people and reinforce 
good manners for the whole.  Now about other animals at rides;  I love 
my dogs and bring them when ever I can...If I can not take my dogs I 
will take my ferrets (except California where they are illegal).  If I 
can't take my ferrets I could take my potbelly pig but I would be afraid 
someone would be offended when she lined up for the Saturday night 
dinner.....oh the dilemma!
