Vet recorders

Hi, campers,

 Reading the letters with great interest about recording for the vet. Someone
mentioned using plastic boards when the weather is wet.

I band birds, among my many other pursuits. I use notebooks named "Rite-In-
The-Rain." They're notebooks made specifically to be used for wet weather. The
pages are lightly waxed, so that you truly can write in the rain. You have to
use a pencil, though, as pens don't do well on the pages. You can get "Rite in
the Rain" notebooks from Campmor catalogs, and sometimes you can find them at
camping or map stores. I hope this helps!
