cruppers



Allison,
You said your gelding kicks up when the cruppeer tightens at a cnater.
Is he green yet, or an experienced horse?  My friend's mare did that for
the first few months but eventually got over it. (Mind you, this 14.1h
mare, with her head up, could kick over my 14.3h gelding's heard! Good
thing I kepp my distance!).  If he's green, or even just green to the
crupper, he may get over it.
