Re: entry dinner fees



A possible solution..
What I have often done at my rides is have a big pot of chili cooking and
ready about 2/3 through the ride.  I don't make a big production of it; I
just tell riders at the ride meeting it is there.  That way, if someone is
really hungry (like my kids always are!) there is something to eat, if not,
fine.   I don't think I've ever run out, and the folks that eat it are sure
appreciative, as, they probably only bought the staples...you know..oreos
and candy bars...
It is not expensive to make, and I don't charge extra.

Another great thing some of our Ozark Country Endurance Rides do is the
club provides the meat and we all bring something for the potluck!
