RE: LD comment

During the time I have done endurance riding whether it be a 25 mile LD or a
longer event, no one has ever been anything but supportive and friendly.
Honestly, I think that perhaps some come across as feeling superior, but
generally I think that most of us who enjoy this sport are supportive of
everyone regardless of mileage.

I find it hard to imagine evaluating a person based on mileage, but maybe
that's because I'm luckily enough to be involved with a great group of
people or those judgmental people are few and far between or perhaps it's a
misunderstanding?

I think the issue under discussion is that the events are different, the
definition is different, as well as, the training, etc.  The issue is not
that one (rider) is better than the other.  Worth is not the issue.
