Re: Winter sweat management

We live in Colorado, just 30 minutes northeast of Denver. We ride through
the winter.
In order to get our horses' sweat dried out before dark, we usually body
clip our horses (not "shave", body clip with 10's) and then blanket them when
they are not being ridden. We have a barn with stalls that have outside
pipepens attached to each (8). Our endurance horses are kept in paddocks with
loafing sheds.
This has worked well for us. The blankets can get hammered, but we care
for the blankets well in order to care for the horse well.
    Good Luck.

     Frank in Colorado.
