I ride in a Prix St. George, on endurance rides
up to 70 miles.  I use the Equalizer pad under it to distribute the weight
evenly.  I do dressage arena work at home, although no competing in
dressage.  The Prix St George is a very confortable saddle, has fit about 4
different horses I have owned, doesn't fit the wide withered horse, but
depends on the tree size you get.  I love the balance point, although
doesn't have much in the way of knee pads. On really green horses, my
husband prefers I ride in something more secure, although it does pretty
well since I'm always well
