RideCampers Bob and Amber Roberts and "Comaraderie"

Dear Bob and Amber Roberts and  Ridecampers,

Without being too verbose - bad habit of mine - I want to publicly thank
Bob and Amber for the time they spent/rode with me - a stranger - at
Decatur/LBJ Grasslands, two weeks ago. Until that day, I had never
ventured that far from home without a riding partner.

Here I am preparing to ride out alone, when a stranger/Amber walks up to
me and introduces herself. I was wearing a helmet and she thought she
might know me. As it turned out, Amber was one of many RideCampers that
had been conversing with me just a few days before - on RideCamp - as to
whether we/Classy and I were ready for our first 25 miler!

Bottom line is, it was like coming home to family. I had "such" a
wonderful time visiting with Amber and Bob/hubby, on the trail, and
before parting, we exchanged information - sorry about the e-mail
address Amber - for future reference. I think it would be great if
RideCampers could/would find a way to identify themselves "anytime" they
are out riding. You just can't beat that comaraderie!
