Re: electrolytes

Tina,

I bought a whole bunch of the big 60 cc plastic syringes.
The night before the ride I mix up as many as I think I'll
need for the ride- plus an extra or two. Recently I've started
mixing the electrolytes with yogurt - it provides a little
probiotic, and seems to make it a little more palatable,
and a little less sticky. Plus it mixes up real well.

I put the mixed syringes in big ziplock baggies - so if
one does blow, it doesn't get everything else messy.
Usually put 2 to 4 in each baggie. Then I can pack the
baggies in my saddle pack, or send them to out vet
checks, or keep them at base camp - whatever.
I've tried everything too - and this really does work
best for me.

Steph
