Almost the final Swanton report

I am still missing the BC placing and the R & T finishing times
but hope to get them from Barbara McCrary soon.

The award ceremony had some funny and happy parts - 

Comments like "We couldn't believe it was this huge Warmblood
that we had to beat in the R & T"  to  when Becky Hart was asked
why the Rio/Vets team slowed down after dark said "Well Rio almost
never finished after dark so he just never learned to do it..."
Through the whole R&T - Rio never looked like he had done any work.

There was a very nice award presented to Barbara Sanches and her
horse Calculator VA +// for finishing 10 times at the Swanton 
Pacific on the same horse. Her husband had made a beautiful award
for the event showing a color painting of Calculator with his words describing the
achievement of her 2 goals with Calculator.  
Terrific achievement for them both.

And finally - Lud and Barbara were reported to be only 3 weeks
from celebrating their 50th anniversary.  And they have been 
putting on rides for something like 28 of those years - wonder
if there is a message here.
