Lauren,

The mare is by the great stallion, Bezetal.  He was the Tevis winner in
1965 and 1967.  Her mother was a 3/4 arabian who finished second herself in
the Tevis in the 70's.  I believe she was Crabbet bred.  So this mare came
from proven endurance lines on both sides.
