I'm having trouble finding anyone who knows anything about a condition in one of my mares.  She showed in heat all the time and was very sensitive to feeling on her sides.  She was operated on for a condition called "retained follicle".  This was done prior to my owning her, within the last 18 months.  I would be particularly interested in finding out if she can still be bred.  I haven't had her for very long (about two months) and I have not noticed her cycling.  She could be a "silent heat" mare, I realize.  

Anyone having any experience or ideas, please reply.
