Re: Presenting a horse so as to maximize possibilties for BC
Check out how some of the top riders show for BC.  Becky and Rio are a prime
example.  Lari Shea also does an outstanding job.  You must practice BC.  The
horse must be trained to go out and back and then do large circles.  Trot out
and stop.  Turn him around the then trot back.  Make no sharp turns or small
circles.  These horses have gone 50 or 100 miles and even the freshest horse
can stumble and/or look slightly off if they are turned suddenly while
trotting out.  It also helps to have a clean well groomed horse.  Watch the
