States that title "trailers" and "RVs" differently might not let you "declare" different status for insurance purposes. Missouri is a state that requires RVs to have a certification sticker in order to be titled as RVs. It is illegal to sell an RV without it. So at least in Missouri you can't just decide to call your trailer an RV.
