What advice do you have regarding sports saddles fitting or rest on the spine of the horse ? Does it put pressure on the spine ?  Is this a real concern to be reckoned with ?  Also I have heard from a few people that their SS created a sore spot on the horses back just underneath the cantle or underneath where they sit, can this be corrected ?  Also, on the endurance net archives one post mentioned a survey that was completed regarding saddles and the SS. How can I find out more about this survey ?
