Cubing hay uses just pressure or pressure with a small amount of molasses
to help bind. This does not nullify the viability of the seeds in the hay
product being used. Be aware, some weed seeds are viable for 20 or more
years and lay dormant until the optimum conditions prevail. That is why
your seemingly pristine pasture all of a sudden sprouts weeds.
