Comming down Shermans Gap Mtn ..in the dark -- alone, about 2am
comming to the river and Macoys Ford.. the next to last stop..
I can still smell the flowers, the river and the cool air.. the wind was
rushing along as we made the turn into the Macoys Ford trail.. I let her
run just little. We felt like one that day..

It was a rush I will never forget
First 100 for me and my mare.
