Well shucks, all I can say about
my Garmin toy is it is mighty accurate
in our woods and hills zig-zagging
around our 80 acre perimeter.

It has got to be a lot more
accurate than some of the
guesstimates on sanctioned
rides I have sometimes
competed over. We intend to
double check all our 50 miles
of trail in The Osceola
National Forest with GPS.

It has got to be more accurate than
those who used a map alone from
the FL Forest Service to determine
mileage. Then somebody else picked
up the tape and discovered the
trail was twelve miles over
by odometer.

The reason I got a Garmin is some
of the woodspeople had a little
game with several models and
felt the Garmin worked better
under trees.

What I'm saying is how it gets measured
is probably not that much different
than AT LEAST USE SOME SCIENTIFIC
METHODS AND MEASURE IT.

sincerely,
Jean Wonser
