AMEN!  I'm in Southern Cal. and I need some new outlets.  We don't have as
much rain but when it does HOO BOY!

How about the Daley Ranch in Escondido or Cuyamaca State Park near Julian. 
I've ridden both these places in the winter, rain & shine.  
There is also the Anza Borrego Desert.  Stagecoach Trails RV& horsecamping
park has excellent facilities and access to MILES of desert riding.  It can
get windy though.   All these places are in San Diego County.
