Cider vinegar

Title: Cider vinegar
I buy my cider vinegar from Hilton's Herbs I buy the variety with wildflower honey which I think makes the whole thing more palatable and of course honey has it's own useful properties - can't think what they are right now. The dosage they suggest is between 30 and 50 mls depending on how much work your horse is doing. More cider vinegar with more work you do.

By the time I've mixed up their feeds with Alfalfa, Sugar Beet etc. and Soya Oil, herbs, garlic and Cider Vinegar it smells like an Italian restaurant and their feeds resemble expensive high class salads with haute cuisine dressing!

Hi to all,
Just my two cents worth,am delighted to know that Apple cider vinigar works on horses. My horses can now suffer with me taking this totally unpaletable stuff. It works wonders for humans as well, ask me I know,am back in the saddle and really looking forward to competing again next year, starting in January.
I would like to know how much Apple cider one gives to horses,I know I have to have a teaspoon of this stuff every day and its truly vile.
Regards
kathy
