to all those interested.....the easiest way to clean the fuzzies out of 
velcro is to brush it out using a detangler wire dog brush.....the one 
that has very short, pin like metal bristles to it.  It works great 
cleaning up all kinds of velcro and also brings the soft brush part of 
velcro back up to a good nap for the loop part to stick to better.  It's 
just an idea for you to use and keep your velcro like new.

It also works great on keeping sheep/fleece saddle-pads and breast 
collars nice and soft and fluffy after you wash them.
