We see quite a few Friesians on the East coast but only one has ever
competed in CTR. she was a very nice mare, ster rated, and won
several 25 mile drives. However, her owners were smart and only
competed her in the spring and Fall. They tried one summer drive
where is was very hot and she had all she could do to finish. We
drove Friesians for years and would agree that they do not have the
stamina for endurance.
