Glenda,

I also think Truman's answer could be correct. He doesn'
t do it early on at a ride. So stretching his back and neck might be a
reason. I would think this would be hard to do at a gallop and canter
tho. Anytime he has done it, we were in cruising mode and loose reined
hand gallop style, so maybe he wasn't trying to avoid the bit...I wasn't
really half-halting him much at those points.
