The Best:

1) Neoprene girth from Orthoflex - horse no longer girth sored (was w/
other brands of neoprene girths, though.)

2) Biothane tailing reins that have cotton web hand grip area with
rubber threads running through the web. They dry quickly and offer
great grip.

3) Toklat wool back pads - I'm still using two from the late 1980's.
They've held up extremely well.

The WORST:

1) Sport Medicine boots - hot, scalded the horse... decided they weren't
intended for endurance.

2) Leather Australian halter bridle - heavy, lots of leather to clean,
got soaked w/ sponging. (Switched to biothane)
