I have seen both Farrier's Formula and Farrier's Magic advertised in
Canada, both being supplements for improving your horse's hoof
condition. They might vary in
how much biotin (and any other product) each might contain. I am
looking into this myself, but don't have the information in hand at
the moment since I am at school. Both are, I believe, in a powder
formula which is added daily to the feed. I know for certain that
Farrier's Magic can be purchased from Greenhawk which is based in
Missaussaga, ON, since I just recieved their catalog last week. If
you would like you can e-mail me privately and I will look up what I
have come across so far.

P.S. I know what you mean about having difficulty in finding some
products here in Canada--local tack/feed stores are usually small
(where I am anyway) and can't afford to keep a supply of all the
new/popular products. I just now found a place which carries
Absorbine Ultrashield (fly spray that lasts for up to a week)
when I recieved the Greenhawk catalog -of course, now that
winter is here I guess I will wait until spring to purchase it!
